finally, none of my roomates are here. ho yeah. im freely to smoke around in my compartment without annoyed anyone. this heaven. i've been wanting for a long time. to be alone and ample space for myself.
as always, smoker will be discriminated. and due to my respect to them, i always have to go to toilet. and, im tired on doing the same thing. anyway, i think my roomates hates me too. maybe not really hate, probably annoyed. maybe. anyway, i dun care.
this will be their final semester. which means, im going to have new roomates. hopefully they are smokers too. so that, i wouldnt have to walk far away in netherland to puff. heh?
i didnt know i would be struggling so much, just because of smoking. well, let alone i know to respect. than i dun think other things matter. right?
alhamdulillah, mid term for political sc will be delayed after raya. thus, this week the only mid term paper i have to face will be creative thinking and problem solving. the best thing about cct, it doesnt required any specific term to be memorized. its inclined more towards the application. well, as long as you have endless ideas or any practical solution for problem. then, inshallah you'll get a.
anyway i nak cerita general refutation for history. *source the lamest text book w/o any pictures and complete journal for intro to history. compulsory for hs students. optional for BENL /IRK/ AND BARB. heheh.
ok, first and foremost msot of the time i've heard about history ; the lamest and not important to the any form of development. well, please dun be a conformist. first and foremost, history is not study alone on death people. in fact, coherence and continuity are pre-requisite for history. which means, history is keep on going and will never stop. fyi, Mahathir is a history. and he's still alive.
history is a bedtime story. another bandwagon and conformist statement. trust me, history is not bedtime story. and if, it blends with myth it considered as pseudo history. which means, it might be taken as history. but, not carefully and attentively recorded. this probably happened, due to lack of entertainment long time ago. thus, they tend to exaggerate and further refined and another refined the history eventually becomes distorted. well, its normal. like, Mahsuri, the legend of 5 hang (hehee). si tenggang. etc. trojan war, greek gods. and ect.
anyway, history is really important for many reasons. first citizenship. because, without history probably you are rootless. like Latin America, when apparently they are the indigenous of America. yet, after failing to mark their own territory they were deteriorate by the rootless american. same goes to malaysia. when, the indigenous still living in jungle. when apparently, we the rootless and came from no where enjoys all the advances. *tak segan ke cakap, Malaysia melayu punya?
apart from it, learning history creating make created nationalism. imagine if u study (not simply by reading it,) study with scrutiny, you would at least love ur country. but, the problem is, we dun really love history because of the presentation of the subjects. it never stress on the intrinsic part, which is- to learn and derive any lesson from it. haish.
nevertheless, history can be used to manipulate anyone. previously, most of the history only concerns about political issues. *well most of the history only mark political issues, rather than anything else. well, previously some of the arabs taken advantage with the AHlul bait in order to gain political support. something like misused the trust given. sort of manipulating people to gain political advantage. and, history method *historiography* was used in order to preserve hadith. *the geneology/the unbroken chain.
and, history is the Mother/Queen of any form of knowledge. well, all the theories came from history. and because of history, all sort of advancement/civilization takes place. imagine if those previous intellectual tend to ignore the important of history? world must be mundane without any development.
theories that u've learnt basically came from history. survive through history, and generally accounted by intellectual, preserved by intellectual and finally learned by next generation of intellectual. yes you all yang sedang menuntut diuniversity.
whether you realized or not, each of any subjects you learn, you will be start with history. all subjects. and, history it imply in alllllllllll subjects. because, without history there will be never any form of knowledge. disagree? u are absolutely an ignorant. trust me. worse than stupidity.
to be honest, neither do i like history when i was in secondary school. i rather take history for granted. because, in secondary school, most of the facts only readable and required to be memorized by all students. while here, history takes different approach. most probably a holistic approach. i dun really have to memorized everything from the book. answer can be given from other sources. and, especially here, they emphasized more on giving opinion. because that's does matter.
and worse, most of my history teacher were not mend to teach history. they tend to teach in linear. which means, they understand alone, and let us blank throughout the years. i dunno. i never like my history teacher accept for puan sharifatul. other than that.. nahh.
anyhow, history is so important. yet, the only problem is the historian. not all historians are mend to be historian. and history was found long time ago. and most of the historians were not professionally trained and have the credibility to record history. even ibnu khaldun have criticized the method of historiography that tend to be bias, dishonest, distort, and manipulate history.
to sum everything up, do bear to at least read scrutiny about history. well, read. because, it might be really important in the future.
and the problem of learning history is, most of the teachers that been teaching me history were "ancient" except for bro azib. well, can i have a history lectures yang muda muda? hehehe. wait, learning is not about the teacher, is all about the knowledge shared.
ok betulkan balik niat.
i am so deadly in love with history.
